Men’s Basketball Signs LJ Harrie

ARCATA, Calif. – The Humboldt State men's basketball program announced the signing of Victorville, Calif., native LJ Harrie.
 
Harrie, a four-year varsity basketball player at Sultana High School, was named the Mojave River League Player of the Year in 2015. He also collected High Desert Region All-Area Player of the Year, Citrus Belt Area Athlete of the Year, and Sultana High School Male Athlete of the Year honors last season.
 
He played in 27 games during his senior year and averaged 21 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Harrie finished his Sultana High School career as the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,029 points.
The three-time team captain broke numerous program records in his 102 varsity games. He made the most 3-pointers in a quarter (six), most 3-pointers in a career (214), most 3-pointers in a season (87) and the best free throw percentage in a game (10-for-10, 100 percent).
 
Harrie helped Sultana High School capture the Mojave River League Championship during the 2011-12 season. He also won a national 3-point shooting competition in 2011.
