PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Department of Athletics is committed to providing the best possible experience for Bradley University students during its sporting events and that commitment has led to several student enhancements for the 2014-15 men's basketball season, which tips off Thursday with an exhibition game versus Augustana at Carver Arena.

Highlighting the enhancements being introduced this season:

  • An expanded lower bowl seating area for student seating section at Carver Arena
  • The opportunity for free student parking in close proximity to Carver Arena
  • A weekly remote student ticket station during game weeks

Expanded Student Section
Working with season-ticket holders who previously purchased seats in the section, Bradley has converted all of Section 9 in the Carver Arena lower bowl to student seating. The section includes 167 seats that begin to wrap from the adjacent endzone student seating section toward the opposing team's bench. As part of the seating adjustment, the upper bowl seats in Section 9 now are available for general public purchase as a White section option: $8 per game, $16 for Marquee 3 Package or $110 season ticket.

Like all student tickets, the new seats in Section 9 are available to Bradley University students for $1 per game.

Free Student Parking
While Bradley will continue to operate round-trip, complimentary student shuttle service from the Michel Student Center to Carver Arena throughout the season, Bradley Athletics also has reached an agreement with Great Plains Orthopaedics to make its parking lot available for Bradley University student parking on game nights. The lot is located at 303 N. William Kumpf Boulevard, directly across the street from Carver Arena. While parking will be $5 for individual Bradley students, cars with at least three riders will be admitted for free (#ThreeForFree). One valid Bradley University student ID is required per car.

Red Sea
The Red Sea is the official Bradley Athletics student section. Red Sea membership is $30 and includes tickets to all 13 men's basketball home games while school is in session, a Red Sea t-shirt and the opportunity to win prizes throughout the year, as well as attend a men's basketball road game this winter and other interactive events with Bradley coaches and student-athletes.

The Red Sea will operate a satellite ticket station in the Michel Student Center from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. two days during each week the men's basketball team plays a home game. The satellite Red Sea Ticket Station will operate Monday and Thursday next week in advance of Thursday night's exhibition game versus Augustana. Both single-game student ticket purchases and Red Sea membership will be available at the remote station. Students also are reminded, they may claim their Red Sea membership materials and make single-game purchases at the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office in Renaissance Coliseum during regular business hours.

Following Thursday's exhibition game versus Augustana, the Braves officially will open their 111th men's basketball season Nov. 14 by hosting Texas-Arlington for a 7 p.m. non-conference tilt at Carver Arena. In addition to the $1 pricing for Bradley students, general public prices begin at just $8 for all Bradley Men's Basketball home games at Carver Arena. Both the Augustana and Texas-Arlington games are options to be included in the Marquee 3 Package, which allows fans to purchase tickets for the Feb. 4 game versus #11 Wichita State, Feb. 18 game versus I-74 rival Illinois State and the non-conference game of their choice for the price of just two games - $16, $30 or $44.
