PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's soccer team continues Atlantic 10 conference play as they visit Saint Joseph's on Friday night at Sweeney Field at 7 p.m.
Scouting the Explorers (4-7-2, 0-2-1 A-10)The Explorers finish off a three-game road trip with Saint Joseph's and are coming off a scoreless draw with VCU on Sunday.
Joe Farrell (4 goals, 2 assists) and
Matt Robinson (3 goals) have been leading the attack for the Explorers, who fired 14 total shots over the weekend.
The Explorers are 24-22-10 all-time against their crosstown foe, and are coming off a 1-0 defeat of the Hawks last October.
Scouting the Hawks (6-3-4, 1-1-1 A-10)Saint Joseph's will be playing their first A-10 home game of the year after opening conference play at Massachusetts, Fordham and George Washington. They're coming off a 1-1 draw at GW on Sunday.
The Hawks backline has been extremely stingy at home this year, allowing only two goals in seven games at home in 2014. Saint Joseph's hasn't lost a home game since a September 1 setback against Army.
