The Games
The 'Roos host both Seattle and Utah Valley in a Friday-Sunday home weekend, starting with the defending champion Redhawks on Friday at 7 p.m. Sunday's contest against the Wolverines will start at 1 p.m. SU has won its last two games coming in, while UVU has dropped its last two by 1-0 scores.

The Coaches
In his 17th season at UMKC, Rick Benben is the winningest coach in school history, posting a 119-156-35 record. Under his guidance, UMKC has captured four conference regular season titles and has made three appearances in the NCAA College Cup with the most recent appearance coming in 2008.  Benben, the fourth head coach in the Division I era, was inducted into the UMKC Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012.
Peter Fewing is in his 21st season at Seattle, and led them to the WAC Regular season and tournament titles a year ago. He has a 241-151-32 overall record with the Redhawks.
Greg Maas is in his first season with the Utah Valley program, starting it from scratch this year. He has served as the Technical Director for the Utah Youth Soccer Association (UYSA) and as head coach of the Real Salt Lake Utah U-17 team.

The Series
Missouri-Kansas City is 0-1 against SeattleU all-time, dropping a 4-3 contest last year in Kansas City. The 'Roos held a 3-1 lead in that game, but Seattle came storming back to remain unbeaten in WAC play.
This will be the first ever meeting with Utah Valley in men's soccer.

The Opponents
The Redhawks come in with a 7-4-1 overall mark and are receiving votes in the NSCAA poll. They are 2-1-1 in WAC play, with wins over Grand Canyon and Utah Valley in their last two games. They are paced on offense by Brady Ballew with four goals, while Jeff Rose has three goals and a team-best three assists. The team has 18 goals, and has allowed 16 on the year. Defensively, goalkeeper Shane Haworth has 57 saves and a 1.29 goals against average.
The Wolverines are 5-5-1 overall and 1-2-1 in WAC play, with all five losses coming by only a goal. They have tallied 13 goals on the season, while allowing just nine. Matt Gay has five goals and four assists to lead the team in both categories, while goalkeeper Collin Partee has a 0.80 goals against average and 45 saves in net.

A Win Against SU Means...
- UMKC would have defeated SU for the first time.
- The 'Roos would have won two straight games for the first time since taking three straight in WAC play last year.
- Missouri-Kansas City would have won defeated the top two teams in the WAC preseason poll.

Up Next
The 'Roos will continue WAC play when they host Air Force on Saturday for senior day at 3 p.m.
Missouri-Kansas City is 1-4-1 against the Falcons all-time, dropping a 2-0 decision in Colorado Springs earlier this season on Oct. 4. Last season the 'Roos went 1-0-1 against them.
