Women's Soccer Announces 50/50 Drawing Winners

At halftime of the Canisius women's soccer home opener on Wednesday night, five winning names were drawn as part of the Golden Griffins' summer 50/50 raffle program.

The winning names (and ticket numbers) were:
Grand Prize - Todd Cornell (055166)
2nd Prize - Robin Piaggione (054821)
3rd Prize - Michele Grieve (668526)
4th Prize - Brian Funk (668425)
5th Prize - John Chamberlain (668602)

A member of the Canisius women's soccer coaching staff will contact each winner by phone.

The Griffs went on to earn their first win of the 2014 season on Wednesday when the Blue and Gold defeated Roberts Wesleyan 1-0 in double-overtime at the Demske Sports Complex. The team will return to action Aug. 31, when Canisius travels to play long-time rival St. Bonaventure in Olean, N.Y.
